Ida chose to try laser treatment for both practical and aesthetic reasons — partly to minimise irritation like classic "razor burn": red bumps that appear from shaving, and also because she felt she never really got along with her body hair, which bothered her visually.
“ I’m really happy that I did laser treatment. I’m not 100% hair-free, which wasn’t the goal and isn’t entirely realistic. However, I have significantly reduced hair growth, especially on the bikini line where I had the most hair.” - Ida Kyllerman
Ida began her treatment just before the pandemic broke out, using the laser machine we previously worked with — a diode laser called Epilia. She completed a total of 3 treatments with Epilia before taking a longer break (due to the pandemic). She then resumed treatment with the new laser machine, Soprano Ice. In total, she completed 12 treatments in the bikini and underarm areas — 3 with Epilia and 9 with Soprano Ice. She experienced greater effectiveness and results in the treatment process after switching to Soprano Ice.
It’s not possible to say exactly how many treatments are needed before starting laser, as it varies individually and depends on several factors. However, at Bare Solutions, we usually advise clients to expect a minimum of 5 treatments per area.
